Please read these terms carefully before using ImagePress. By installing or using the app, you agree to be bound by the conditions described herein.
Acceptance of Terms
Your agreement with ImagePress
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ImagePress (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“User” or “you”) expressly agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the App immediately and uninstall it from your device.
Description of Service
What ImagePress does
ImagePress is an Android application that provides the following core services:
- ✓Single Image Compression — Reduce the file size of an individual image while preserving visual quality.
- ✓Bulk Image Compression — Compress multiple images simultaneously in a single batch operation.
- ✓Image to PDF Conversion — Convert one or more images into a portable PDF document for easy sharing and archiving.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice.
User Eligibility
Who may use ImagePress
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum digital consent age in your jurisdiction) to use ImagePress. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
If you are under the age of majority in your region, you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
App Permissions
Device access required to deliver core functionality
ImagePress requests the following Android permissions. Each permission is used solely for its stated purpose.

Privacy & Data Collection
How we handle your information
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Here is a transparent summary of data practices within ImagePress:
📱 Local Data Storage- →Image metadata (file names, paths, compression history) is stored locally on-device. This data never leaves your device.
- →Output files are saved to your device storage. No image content is ever uploaded to our servers.
- →All compression and conversion processing happens on-device.
🔥 Firebase Crash Analytics
- →We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports and performance diagnostics.
- →Data includes device model, Android OS version, app version, and stack traces. It does not include personal identifiers or image content.
📢 Advertising Data
- →Ad partners may collect anonymised device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads.
- →You may opt out via your device’s Google Settings → Ads.
Advertising
Ad formats displayed within the App
ImagePress (free tier) is supported by in-app advertising. By using the free version, you agree to the display of:
- ✓Reward Ads — Optional video ads you may watch to unlock features. Entirely opt-in.
- ✓Interstitial Ads — Full-screen ads appearing at natural transition points within the App.
Ads are served by third-party networks (including Google AdMob) operating under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party ad content.
Premium Subscription
Pricing, billing, and cancellation
ImagePress offers an optional Premium upgrade for an ad-free experience with full access to all features.
Pricing is shown in your local currency as determined by Google Play Store based on your region. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. The Yearly plan renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date — manage via Google Play Store → Subscriptions. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges.
Intellectual Property
Ownership of the App and your content
All software, design, code, graphics, logos, trademarks, and branding elements of ImagePress are the exclusive intellectual property of its developers, protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of all images you process. We grant us no rights to your image content and do not access, store on servers, or use your images for any purpose beyond the on-device processing you initiate.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of our App without our express written consent.
User Conduct
Prohibited and unacceptable uses
You agree to use ImagePress only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- →Use the App to process, distribute, or store illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringing content.
- →Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security-related features.
- →Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- →Use automated bots or scripts to access or interact with the App.
- →Exploit the App for commercial gain without our prior written permission.
Disclaimers
Warranties and “as-is” provision
ImagePress is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:
- →Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- →Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- →Warranties regarding accuracy or completeness of any output generated by the App.
Limitation of Liability
Our maximum legal responsibility to you
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of ImagePress shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- →Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or revenue.
- →Device damage arising from use of the App.
- →Any third-party content or advertisements displayed within the App.
- →Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
Termination
Ending your use of ImagePress
You may terminate your agreement at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscriptions through Google Play.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we decide to discontinue the App. Any active premium subscription remains valid until the end of its current paid period.
Governing Law
Jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us directly. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns within 30 days.
Changes to These Terms
How we notify you of updates
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- ✓Update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document.
- ✓Display an in-app notification prompting you to review the updated Terms.
- ✓Where required by law, seek renewed consent before changes take effect.
Your continued use of ImagePress after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
